About Us

Downtown Greensboro Animal Hospital is a full functioning animal hospital and we are proud to serve the Greensboro community and surrounding areas for their pet’s needs. Our hospital is owned and run by Dr. John Wehe, who is a licensed veterinarian and experienced in small animals, exotics and avian care.

Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition, exercise and preventative medicines and testing. Downtown Greensboro Animal Hospital stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

Our Core Focus:

Building long term relationships by exceeding our clients expectations through high level service and excellent, comprehensive veterinary care in a clean and calm environment.

Our Core Values:

Be Grateful Each Day:
I am grateful to come to work each day. I am grateful for the ability to work and provide veterinary services for my community. I am grateful for my coworkers. I am grateful for a team that focuses on building each other up rather than personal gain. I am grateful for the financial provision my career affords me.

Commitment To Excellence:
God has gifted me with a passion for working with people and animals. I will strive for excellence in all that I do to bring honor to Him. I will be prepared each day to come to work and commit myself to my craft, my team, my clients and my patients. I will apply myself to each task that I do and strive to make a positive difference in all that I do.

Laughter Is The Best Medicine:
I know my profession is a high demand job; physically, mentally & emotionally. It is necessary to be able to laugh and enjoy my teammates.

Relational:
– My goal is to develop long term relationships with my clients.

– I desire to get to know them beyond caring for their pet. I will give time during a client’s visit to find out how they are and what is going on in their lives. I practice making eye contact with them so they know I am listening and have my attention.

Team Oriented:
– I will work together with my team for the good of the business.

– As a small work family, it is essential to be able to depend on my teammates. Whether it is client care or patient care, holding a pet or answering the phone, I am committed to helping my team get the job done.
